The Turtle AV Boardroom Buddy HDMI TX — 4K60 HDBaseT Transmitter (TAV-BBHDMI-TX) transmits 4K60 4:4:4 HDMI 2.0b video and USB 3.2 Gen 1 data at up to 2.5Gbps over a single CAT6a cable, extending a laptop or desktop HDMI source to a meeting room display and connecting the room's USB peripherals — webcam, speakerphone, or USB hub — back to the presenter's device without a second cable run. HDCP 2.3, the full resolution range from 480i to 5K, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, and 8/10/12-bit colour depth are all passed transparently. Audio is extracted to a 3.5mm analogue output at the transmitter end. RS-232 serial control is included for integration with AV control systems, and a 24V Power over Cable output on the RJ45 connector powers the paired receiver. The transmitter is powered by the included 24V/2A DC supply. Designed for boardrooms, huddle spaces, lecture theatres, and BYOD meeting environments.
