The Turtle AV Darwin 4K Control — Central Management Box for Darwin 4K AV over IP (TAV-DARWIN4K-CTL) provides centralised management, routing, and control for Darwin 4K H.265 AV over IP systems, coordinating source selection and matrix switching across all Darwin 4K TX encoders and RX decoders on the 1G network from a single device. Two 1G LAN ports — one with PoE output — connect the control box to the video distribution network and to managed encoders and decoders. Additional control ports include IR input and output for IR extender integration, a 6-pin digital I/O for contact closure control, two RS-232 ports for AV control system integration, and a Micro USB update port. The device manages routing commands across the Darwin 4K matrix via the network, removing the need for a PC or separate control software to operate the AV system. Designed for matrix AV over IP installations in corporate, education, retail, and public sector environments.

The Turtle AV Darwin 4K Control is the network controller for Darwin 4K H.265 AV over IP matrix installations, managing routing between all Darwin 4K TX encoders and RX receivers on the 1G network without requiring a permanently connected PC or control software. Two 1G LAN ports — one with PoE output — connect the box to the managed network and allow it to power connected Darwin 4K devices.
