The Turtle AV USB-C 4K60 and USB 2.0 Extender Kit consists of a host (transmitter) and device (receiver) extender that together extend 4K60 4:4:4 USB-C video and USB 2.0 signals over a single CAT6a cable run, covering 40 metres at 4K60 and 70 metres at 4K30. The host extender connects to a USB-C source device and provides a 100W USB-C charging port for simultaneous laptop power. The device extender connects to the room display via HDMI 2.0b and provides a USB-C device port plus three USB-A ports for up to four USB 2.0 peripherals, all connected back to the source over the same CAT cable. HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, 8/10/12-bit colour, HDCP 2.3, and all major audio formats pass transparently. Power over Cable from the host eliminates a second PSU at the receiver.
Key Features
- 4K60 4:4:4 up to 40m: Uncompressed 4K60 with full 4:4:4 chroma sampling to 40m via CAT6a — no compression artefacts at the display end
- 4K30 up to 70m: Extended range at 4K30 for larger rooms and long cable routes
- USB 2.0 to 4 Devices: Four USB 2.0 device connections at the receiver — webcam, keyboard, mouse, USB hub or other peripherals
- 100W USB-C PD Charging: 100W Power Delivery at the host extender charges the connected USB-C laptop without a separate charger
- HDMI 2.0b Output at Receiver: Full HDMI 2.0b output at the display end — all video formats, HDR, and colour depth passed from the USB-C source
- HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG: Full HDR format support including Dolby Vision for premium display environments
- HDCP 2.3: Content protection for DRM-protected USB-C video sources
- Power over Cable — 24V PoC: Host PSU powers the receiver over the CAT cable — one power supply for the entire installation
- RS-232 + API Control: RS-232 and API control at both host and device for integration with AV control systems
- Dimensions: 120 × 113 × 25.5mm each: Identical compact form factor at both ends — TX 353g, RX 352g, metal Turtle Aqua enclosure
