The Turtle Downtown (TAV‑DOWNTOWN) is a premium HDMI audio-over-IP encoder engineered to deliver up to 9.1 channels of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio into Dante and AES67 networks. Supporting Dolby Digital, DD+, Atmos, DTS:X, and multichannel PCM, each channel is encoded as a discrete Dante stream for precise routing via Dante Controller. Ideal for immersive audio workflows in broadcast, themed entertainment, cinema, stadium, and professional AV, it also provides stereo downmix for legacy systems. Triple network architecture with dual redundant PoE and a dedicated control LAN enhances system security and uptime. Housed in a rack-mountable Turtle Aqua 1RU chassis, it is TAA compliant and backed by a UK-based 5-Year advance replacement warranty.
